Limited Edition: #237 of 2,500 made with numbered Authenticity plaque. The Celebration of America Collector's Train layout is crafted in the popular Z-scale. It is meticulously detailed, with its theme inspired by the artwork of famous American artist Norman Rockwell, as his art appeared on the cover of The Saturday Evening Post. This amazing train layout has a an operating train layout and a running water stream from the mountain-top feeding a mill pond, and a Small Americana town decorated for the 4th of July Holiday.
The Train (none included) is controlled by a Marklin transformer and the track has power and control. The Celebration of America is an operating train layout with tunnel feature and requires a Z scale train to operate. Train Track operation and Water Feature are tested and working. There is a mill with turning water wheel which does not turn. The wooden base has cosmetic scratches on the base bottom on one side as pictured. The mountain access hatch has been repaired and some small detail parts in the town scene such as the playground equipment for the school are missing. Please review the pictures as they are part of the description. Out of production, no longer produced by the Franklin Mint.Tested and working: Track and Train Controller operate the trains. The water feature (switchable) operates the flowing stream. The turning Mill Wheel does not turn when switched on. Below is a video link to layout operation shown for visualization purposes.

It is recommended to use train cars and locomotives less than 8,5 cm in length because of the tight radius curves and tunnel portals on the layout.
