KATO N Gauge 273 Series "Yakumo" 8-Car Set, Special Edition Model Train, 10-2000. This set features the Y7 and Y8 trains (8-car set) belonging to the Goto General Rolling Stock Center Izumo Branch. The distinctive "Yakumo Bronze" body paint, ivory window surrounds, and brown roof surrounds and skirts are recreated. Front door (open) parts are included, allowing for two trains to be coupled together. The prototype train features leading cars without through doors. End markings, safety device markings (P/S), and door cock markings are printed. Each car features a body-mounted close-coupling coupler without a hook. A slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running. KATO's unique car body pendulum mechanism reproduces the inward lean of the car body when passing through curves, just like the real thing. This model train is powered by the rails. No batteries are required for running, lighting, or illumination. This product does not include batteries.
