Accucraft Live Steam 129 G-Gauge USRA 0-6-0 Locomotive for Restoration
This is a Butane-fire live steam Accucraft USRA 0-6-0 locomotive and tender for restoration. It is 1:29 scale running on 45mm G-gauge at minimum radius of 30.11 inches (or 76.5 mm).
We do not know how to run live steam engine so we will try to describe it as best as we can. The working condition is unknown. Cosmetically, it has several missing parts that we can observe: The cab roof is missing. The rear driver brakes are missing on both sides. The details components under the cab, on both sides, are missing.
The brass whistle on the left side of the middle dome is missing. There are few loose parts including a reverse cylinder that broke off from the right side belly of the boiler (see photos). The other part looks like the steam whistle. The train however has remote control system installed but the handheld remote is missing. There are 2 servos mounted under the cab - one for the throttle, one for the reverse. The Traxxas receiver and battery pack are mounted inside the tender (see photos). The engine headlight has LED light inside with cable coming out underneath but the cable is connected to nowhere. There is an on/off switch mounted underneath the tender near the rear.
Please take a very careful look at the photos for the cosmetic condition. It will need some cleaning.
