All Original O Gauge #43226 / #4622-6 / 4-6-2 / 6 Wheel Drive Steam Locomotive and All Original 12 Wheel #1623 Tender with box built in 1938 by The A. As noted in the A. Gilbert Catalog of 1938, this Locomotive is an Authentic prototype of the "President Washington" 4-6-2 Atlantic type of the B. Original Black with Red window, Brass & Copper Hardware, and fully functional. 12" long x 2.5" wide x 3.5 tall, and weighs a hefty 4 Pounds! This Locomotive & Tender was played with back in the late 30's/early 40's but well taken care of for its age. It's been stored in a cool, dry, smoke free environment for most of it's life, at least 60 years! I have left it in it's original stored condition giving it only a light dusting off to preserve it's authentic integrity, so it may show light soil and fingerprints. See pictures to judge condition for yourself. The collectible original Tender box. Shows signs of wear and tear from use, again see pictures. All in all this set is in very good shape.
