Item Description: You are looking at an Original Ives Legendary O Gauge Train Set from 1932. This Passenger Set is considered by many collectors to be on of the most desirable Prewar O Gauge Sets in the Hobby. 1694 Electric 12 Wheel 4-4-4 Locomotive. Paint All Original - Good Condition. 4 Screws on side of Locomotive under 1694 Plates are Not Original.
These 4 screws are due to an early repair to the original motor (Possible Service station repair as this same repair has been seen before on the 1694). The 1694 Does Not Operate. Ives 1695 12 Wheel Pullman Car, all original Very Good To Excellent condition with Original 1695 Box. Ives 1696 12 Wheel Baggage Car, Very Good Original Condition (Paint Wear near 1696 Stamps). Ives 1697 12 Wheel Observation Car. Original Very Good to Excellent Condition with Original 1697 Box. All 3 Cars Show Minimal 3rd Rail Roller Wear and all 5 coupler supports are in tact. These 3 cars and boxes were born together out of the factory. The engine has joined the cars to make set 1616. Please look at the detailed photos for best indication of overall item condition.
