O Gauge Lionel 2400, 2401, 2402 Pass Cars Green, Coaches Sides Trucks Painted! That's what I said why would you paint out the graphics's, trucks etc on the coaches but not the observation? Match a local to you? Who knows but still a decent set. Bulbs test by hand, couplers fire by shoe on coaches not observation, coil there but wire from shoe is off it. Some side body distortion on observation but not real ugly. Wires to roller pickups need reattach. Window glazing is the proper original glossy finish, the ones in the observation have shrunken some so they do not reach the end window each by the door. Black roofs a repaint too but look ok, original roof vent screws. Maplewood and Chatham and Lionel Lines graphics visible under the repainted sides, I think they were heat stamp applied when made. I've not tried to remove the repaint for fear of also removing the original green, maybe leave alone and/or add your own decals of some kind. At lest I'd repaint the truck sides black or use some paint remover. See photos I've tried to show all issues pro and con, they are part of description.
