O Gauge American Flyer 1681 Hudson Type Loco Prewar X1079
12.5" Diecast 2-6-4 loco made late 1930's is considered a "Hudson-type. It is original black with white-stripe running boards, gray windows, decal lettering and mixed copper and brass trim. Loco only in listing is mostly original/complete. It has playwear as shown, white stripe may have been touched-up, black shows some minor touch-ups.
Front pony wheels and 1 rear pony wheel have fatigue cracking/damage. The front 2, at least, should be replaced. There is corrosion on front coupler and tarnish on trim.It would look good with most larger tenders, 1620, 1623 etc, tender not included. 1 weight may be missing from inside the roof. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
