Built of steel and richly embellished by a wealth of accurate detail, the outfit includes a #616W power car, two #617 coaches, and a #618 observation car.

Lionel offers the version first made available in 1938, a striking chrome outfit with gunmetal painting on the power car, observation car, and skirts. The coaches feature fluted sides and single doors. Transformer controlled forward, neutral, and reverse operation.
