Hornby O Gauge Metropolitan LV Electric Loco
Rare Hornby Series 0 gauge E36 Metropolitan 4-wheel electric locomotive - 1934 6V type - appears complete but is a non-runner. This is a pre-war tinplate Hornby electric loco with reversing mechanism. A non-runner although there are some signs of life at 6 volts. The body has has some edge rusting to one side particularly. All the controls and the pick-ups are in place.
The pick-up base plate is embossed'6V' and the motor has flush brush holders, indicating the later LV type. I have shown some interior views for clarity. Made by Meccano Ltd in this form 1934/38.
