American Flyer 1681 Hudson 1623 Tender Prewar O Gauge X19153

Diecast 2-6-4 loco is a Hudson-type, made mid-late 1930s includes 1623 cast aluminum 12-wheel tender with green stripes. L&T are 22 coupled together, look mostly original and complete. Loco has some touch-ups, mainly pilot and edges, smoke stack is painted black and windows painted cream. Finish otherwise looks near EX with only a few chips in white sideboard stripe. One front pony wheel has fatigue cracking, otherwise all are solid originals. Tender finish has some wear, mostly edges and ends as shown, nice original green decal stripes.

Drawbar and coupler have been painted black, coupler missing tab and ladder added to rear. Loco tried to run when tested, reverser chatters on track. It ran one-way when tested on its side on bench with jumper wires. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
