This early one of a kind standard gauge locomotive and tender uses Lionel prewar standard gauge parts such as: cow catcher, wheels, tender trucks, and bell. This black and gold large 4 - 6- 2 Pennsylvania Pacific is a well hand crafted folkart private party project made probably during the mid to late Standard gauge era of the 1920s - 1930s.
The engine alone measures 21 which is longer than top of the line Lionel 400E Locomotive alone. The locomotive wheels move freely. The Locomotive and tender are very proportioned and could fit nicely with Lionel Ives AF Boucher and Dorfan pieces on a mantle shelf or layout siding. This vintage Standard gauge one of a kind has no mechanism and therefore no running capability. This is a great piece of Americana in Fair condition.Missing some trim parts (please see photos).
