Live steam locomotive and tender. Black 5 4-6-0 with 0-6-0 Tender 45021. The model appears never to have been steamed. Spirit fired live steam loco and tender styled after 4-6-0 enigmatic "Black 5" BR. Approx 27 cms x 9 cms tall Loco - Gauge O.
Approx 15 cms x 8 cms tall tender. 3 wick spirit burner - Spirit reservoir in Tender. Oil lubrication filler behind front buffers. Water fill valve on boiler. Steam valve on boiler - not tested. Cab control for steam regulation. Cab - fitted windows - all brass bodywork well assembled and finished with white metal additions. Cylinder covers, side rails and some detailing - NOTE Two parts are detached - see photos. Very nicely made steel running gear, wheels, cylinders, internal cranks and pistons.
Overall good condition and appears unused. With some tidying to paintwork and a little extra detailing this will be a very nice example that can easily be made to steam and run.
