Lionel 6-51000 O Gauge Hiawatha Steam Passenger Train Set
Included in the Set is an Instruction Pamphlet. I have never operated any part of it and it has been stored for some 36 years in a climate controlled environment. I would grade the Set Equpment as C-8. I just inspected the Steam Locomotive, Tender and 3 Cars for any damage or imperfections and I have noticed that the Steam Locomotive has a small area at the rear top of the loco where the black paint is mottled. I tried to capture this mottling in the last photograph of the Set. Below that there is another small area with paint mottling. All of the rest of the.
Set; the tender, the Cars and the Vestibules do not have any imperfections that I could see. The large Box for the Set has some scuffing, bent corners and the like. It is a difficult box to store over many years. I have tried to capture these box imperfections in the l3th, 14th and 15th photographs of the Set. I would grade the box as a C-6.
The styrofoam in the interior of the box is in great shape. Tested the Locomotive to guarantee it is operable and tested each car's lighting. Please, examine the photos of the Set closely to verify my observations. This is a Beautiful, never operated Set, essentially Brand New except that it has been in storage for 36 years. This Set does not include a Transformer, Track or any other accessories.
