American Flyer Set 1307 Boxed 3020 with Illini Cars Prewar O Gauge X2031
Boxed set, could be as early as 1922, includes a black 3020 electric 4-4-4 loco and 3 green litho Illini passenger cars. All have the earliest coupler type, lift-latch with bent hair-pin type for male end. Later male couplers were the twisted harpoon. Cars have earliest trucks, black trim, dark orange window trim, lighter on baggage. Cars have some wear, mainly edges and roofs, alligatoring, most on baggage, which is also missing a door. One pullman is tail car with rear marker discs. Cars have roof locks that hold light fixtures, if you have them and are in partial boxes with Green Passenger stamped on 2 ends. Loco is shiny-clean and complete, nice lettering, light edge wear. One wheel is a disc replacement. Set box is 24x12x4, has wear/dirt/age, some split corners.
