Henry Dreyfuss-styled 2-4-4 loco, made 1939 only is original gunmetal gray with stamped lettering on loco, AFL decal stripe on tender. 417 loco and 418 tender make combo 419, about 17.5 long together, has curly-Q knuckle coupler on tender. Unsure about diecast front of loco as color and patina are slightly darker, but it appears to be mounted with factory rivets. It has red plastic markers and near-complete stamped cab lettering.

It ran/reversed and light worked when bench tested, has auto reverse. One pony truck wheel has some fatigue cracks, others all look OK. Hard to find, especially in nice condition. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
