Up for sale is an. MTH Premier 20-3028-1 New Jersey Central Blue Comet Steam Engine w/ Proto-Sound 1 O-Gauge NOS. Engine is New Old Stock and has been test run only. Features: QSI Proto-Sound, Fan Driven Smoke Unit, Electronically Activated Coil Proto-Coupler, Die-cast body and trucks, Illuminating Headlight, Classification lights and backup light on rear of tender. Unfortunately, the scale front coupler tension chain detail was broken in the box when delivered from the factory. We recovered and included it in a plastic baggy which you will see one side of the foam upon opening the box. With patience you may be able to restore. The engine is, otherwise, flawless. A brand new battery has been installed. Engine has been fully tested, and works perfectly.

Wheels & Rollers may show very light wear from being test run. Box shows shelf wear and some cosmetic flaws.

Extra protective cushion may be added inside the foam insert to keep the item from shifting around. This locomotive has been inspected and approved by an MTH Authorized Service Center Technician.
