A 9-car train set that reproduces the 787 series "Tsubame" that is connected to the buffet. Since the actual car appeared as the limited express "Tsubame" in July 1992, it is still active as the main train of the JR Kyushu conventional line limited express after various operations and renewal of the interior and exterior. At the time of debut, it was located at the Kagoshima driver's office and was running from Mojiko Hakata to Nishi Kagoshima (currently Kagoshima Chuo). In 1994, a 9-car train was formed, and the composition of the buffet car Sahashi 787 was changed from car 3 to car 5 to meet the increasing demand for passengers.

We will commercialize a full set of 9 cars of the 787 series "Tsubame" with a changed composition position of the buffet car on a gray two-tone body. You can enjoy the appearance that changed according to the times by arranging the 787 series in its heyday and the successive "Tsubame" side by side. The formation is a BK3 formation belonging to the Kagoshima driver's office, and the prototype is the Sahashi 787 being repositioned from car 3 to car 5 after the addition of front hand pickpockets around 1994.

Commercialized in the heyday specification featuring a gray two-tone color. The second car, the Moha 786-200 series, first appeared, featuring a different logo layout from the Moha 786-0. The underfloor equipment trolley is expressed in blue-gray. The wheels are set in black. Represents the underfloor equipment at the end of a vehicle with a toilet. Headlight / taillight is on.
