KATO N Gauge 885 Series Second Run Around the Kyushu 6-Car Set Model Train 10-1952. The 885 series second-generation train Around the Kyushu which serves as the main express train in the Kyushu region has been updated to the current specifications of 2025 and is now available as a product.
The bogie cover has been changed to a flat plate shape to match the actual vehicle. The "AROUND THE KYUSHU" logo and lettering are beautifully expressed. This model is based on the SM8 train belonging to the Minami-Fukuoka Depot.
The flat bogie cover on the lead car and the side markings on Moha 885-201 which are positioned differently from previous models are reproduced. The AROUND THE KYUSHU logo and lettering are beautifully rendered. The logo shared by both the 885 and 787 series groups is reproduced in print.
The Sonic logo and emblems placed throughout accurately recreate the differences from the first-run cars. The underfloor equipment bogies and other running gear are blue-gray while the couplers are black. Head and taillights feature illuminated warm white LEDs. Features KATO's unique car body pendulum mechanism which replicates the inward tilt of the car body when passing through curves just like the real thing. The intermediate couplers are equipped with a close-coupled KATO coupler with jumper tubes as standard. Includes destination display stickers updated to reflect the opening of the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen. This model train is powered by the rails. No batteries are required for running lighting or illumination. This product does not include batteries.
