Up for sale is an. MTH Premier 20-2169-1 Rock Island EMD E8 AA (NO B UNIT; A-A ONLY) Diesel Engine Set w/PS1 O-Gauge. Engine set is Like New, but has been modified and DOES NOT include the B unit.

This is an A-A set only! B unit has been broken up and listed separately due to factory defects. Diaphragms may have warped slightly from age and sitting in the box. Wheels may show light wear from test running. There is some cracking on the plastic dummy truck wheels from years sitting in the box. This does not affect operation. Lead A is Powered (Master). Rear A is Non-Powered Dummy. Two motors - set total. Set Features: Proto-Sound 1 by QSI w/Passenger Station Announcements, Dual Motors in Lead A unit only, Die-cast trucks, Proto-Coupler on nose of both A units, Directional Lighting, Mars Lighting. There is an issue with the Directional Lighting on the Rear A unit. There is smoke in both A units (located only within the frontmost vent/toward the pilot).

A new battery has been installed. The set can be run as an A-A, or A consist. Set has been fully tested and works as it should. Foam insert has some damage. Box shows shelf wear and some light damage.

Comes in factory original shipper. This set has been inspected and approved by an MTH Authorized Service Center Technician. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you properly oil and grease the.
