Lionel 1978 Milwaukee Road Limited Edition O Gauge Scale Train Set 6-1867 in Box
LIONEL MILWAUKEE ROAD 1978 LIMITED EDITION TRAIN SET 6-1867. It was made only for only a single year. This set is headed by the Milwaukee Road SD-18 Diesel engine. Features include a working headlight, die-cast trucks, illuminated number plates, transformer controlled forward-neutral-reverse operation, and a powerful Lionel Pullmor motor. Rolling stock features include metal wheels & axles, die-cast trucks, and die-cast operating knuckle couplers.

It comes in its original box with instructions and paperwork. Condition of this Lionel Milwaukee Road train set is EXCELLENT. The engine and all cars come in their original boxes. I don't believe the train was ever run, but I'm not certain (possibly run just a little). All the internal boxes are in good shape, although the Peabody Hopper box has a tear on the lower left side (see photo). The outer box shows wear and is intact but the red coloration has faded to brown on most of the top surface.
The paperwork has some age discoloration also. The train is UNTESTED (I don't have the necessary equipment), but it should work fine. Please take a close look at the many photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself.
